Frequently Asked Questions
I have never taken and indoor cycling class, what should I expect?
At least half the people who come in are new to indoor cycling. Just like Yoga you are going to go at your own pace. All of our 10 instructors work with people new to indoor cycling and they will make sure you have a good experience. The instructors will be guiding you through the workout and making suggestions, again you go at your own pace. You will definitely get a great cardio workout. The first one is always the toughest but the music and the encouragement will get you through the hour. We also offer a free beginner spin class on the 3rd Saturday of every month at 10:15 am.
What if I can't stand up on the bike and keep up with the class?
The goal of the workout is for you to do your best and listen to your body. Everyone is at different levels. Your job is to breathe, relax and have a good time and know when to push it and when to slow down. If you need a break you are encouraged to take a break and always go at your own speed.
What should I wear?
We recommend bike shorts if you have them or comfortable workout clothes. If you have cycling shoes bring those, if not sneakers are just fine.
What should I bring?
We recommend you bring a water bottle and towel.
How long is each class?
The majority of our classes are 60 minutes which includes a warm up and cool down. Our lunch time classes are 45 minutes and we do have special 2 hour classes. It is a good idea to get to class at least 5-10 minutes before the class so we can fit you on the bike and get you comfortable.
Do I need to reserve a bike online?
It is a great idea to reserve your bike on line. Many times our classes fill up and those with reservations get first priority.

How do the Virtual Reality Trainers work?
You can bring in your own bike or ride one of ours and you can ride any course you want in the world. The ride simulates the actual course so when you go uphill it feels like uphill, you will also need to shift. If has the same feel as riding outside without cars and weather conditions. As you ride you are looking at the route on a computer screen and you are able to track your cadence, speed and much more. If you are training for an upcoming ride we can map the route and put it on the trainers and you can ride the exact route to help you train for the ride.
